and do we have enough forwards for all those passes?

Do you even JoMo?
Pulisic could end up playing forward. He's a beast in front of goal. Gall has potential. Zardes has potential, Zomba, Jameison, etc. Pulisic is the only one we've got coming up that I think could approach world class at forward, but we have a few that could reach Altidore, Johansson levels

I know we have guys coming. I was being sarcastic about the forward thing.
Just excited to have some true creative passing mids coming through the ranks.

I've had it before. Once you get past the diarrhea, it's not too bad.
Moral of the story - don't eat a hamburger from a roadside cart in Togo.

Akale is sooooooo nasty. An exciting player for sure.
Are we talking about U-20 right now, or future full national team stuff? Expect Rubio Rubin to start up top at the U-20 WC (which starts May 30th btw), possibly with Maki Tall or BJ-IV next to him.

Anyone know what channel the U-20 WC will air?

I know we are still a ways away from even realistically thinking about this, but if those two progress like they should and Julian gets his shite together (plus Mix and Baby Brads), we could have the best technical midfield that we've ever brought to a World Cup.

Mix needs to get his shite together too. Not been playing well lately for NYCFC.

I do wish the Julian would've gotten a call up for the u-20's. Dude needs to get playing time and confidence.

He played for the German U-19 team in a qualifier for this tournament, so he's cap tied.

Allen, Rubin, and BJIV are who I expect to start at forward. But, would love to see Tall, too.
Our starting XI possibilities are pretty nasty, I love it.

Allen plays more as a winger or midfielder though, doesn't he? I know he has played on the side of the diamond for RSL and their diamond 442.
Posted on 5/14/15 at 7:12 pm to cwil177
Assuming Ramos plays a front 3 (not given, he might revert to 442), I'd expect Allen to play on the left side of the front three. A forward/winger.

Ramos said he will be using a diamond 4-4-2.
Posted on 5/15/15 at 12:24 am to cwil177
Ah, then yeah, probably left side winger or bench for him.
With a 4-4-2, we've got a looot of power in the midfield. I like it.
