A salesman can be extremely valuable for an organization. Not so much the BS car salesmen type, but the type who can generally shoot the shite with anyone and in turn get valuable market information to help management make decisions.

Yeah frick people who incur thousands of dollars of medical bills and/or lose a loved one because someone else was grossly negligent and/or was willfully misconducting themselves.
I work as an attorney for a large corporation. I have the exact opposite interest of these guys, but I respect someone who is trying to get compensation for a person in chronic pain because some jackass trucker was texting while driving.
How are you all so deluded that you don't realize how fricked you would be without PI attorneys?

Because the insurance industry has done an amazing job of marketing and PR.
I can't tell you the amount of phone calls I get where the person tells me "I never wanted to be the type to call an attorney over this, but the adjuster took 3 weeks to call me back and told me he'd give me $500 for my medical bills. Take it or leave it."

I'm not saying they don't serve a purpose, but they certainly shouldn't be regarded or compensated as anything but a messenger boy touting the efforts of actual men who produce things for society. Besides, a good website can do a salesman's job cheaper and more effectively.

Well go ahead and tell me. I only know how we do things at my firm. I always hear these horror stories about personal injury lawyers, but I never experience any of them firsthand.
