Yeah Trant's days are numbered, him followed by Bronn are the next victims.
Posted on 5/3/15 at 11:35 pm to weagle99
That's not fair he killed 12 of them.

I can't wait to see what shenanigans Cooper and Darnell get into next week in Dorne

"Cooper and Darnell"
Sounds like something that would have come on betwen "Martin" and "Sister,Sister" in the 90's.

I think if Selmy died to prove to Danny that the Unsullied are soldiers, not police, it was worth it.
I just hope that this doesn't happen: 'Worm holds on long enough to tell Danny they are not police and to use them for what they were trained...Then croaks...

The thing that did piss me off was they turned the Unsullied into a bunch of jobronis to those Sons of the Harpy losers. Heck, even being unnumbered, the Unsullied could have put up two shield walls and handled those jokers. Especially since they were in a narrow corridor and couldn't be flanked.
Exactly what I was thinking. Another thing... Where... were... their...shortswords. A good tactician knows that the spear is good for long range attacks, so you abandon them when they get past your spears. And draw your shortswords. That's what the Romans did. Their shortsword was called a Gladius.
Where was morale in this melee? The Sons of the Harpy were hired thugs. Hired thugs don't fight to the last man. They run the frick away. The Unsullied do fight to the last man.

D&D are obviously not scholars of military tactics.

I am 56 years old. I was in the Navy. I was an officer in the Navy. I went to the Naval Academy. I have read more books on tactics than you. Including Sun Tzu The Art of War, Armoured Tactics by Fuller, Strategy by B H Liddell Hart, Infantry Attacks by Rommel, War as I knew it by Patton, Mahan and many others. It was my job, and I loved it. I played war games all of my life including RPG's. I was in SCA. So you really whiffed on that one.
Obviously, you don't know what your talking about.
So if you come back with he's really butt hurt, or any other asinine comment. See what I did there. No, you are too stupid. Realize, I'm laughing at you.

In hindsight putting my age up there was a mistake. One I apologize for. I was just trying to convey that I had a lifetime of experience.
A couple of things I forgot. I was a docent at the National WWII museum in New Orleans. Until I moved up to Portland. I was a WWII reenactor. I have studied WWII tactics and history all of my adult life. I am an avid collector of WWI and WWII items.

I think in one of the trailers released a few months back there was a clip of Nym wearing barely anything? She'll probably pretend to seduce one of them.
Also, when will we see Trystane and Myrcella interact? Next week?

Yep. I didn't think they'd pass the books on so many things this season. I was obviously wrong.

Im not sure I believe they are both dead. I mean worm stopped Barristan's throat from being slit and all. What would be the point of that.
If reading the books tells me anything its that unless you clearly see a persons head roll, throat slit, or heart stabbed through, they are probably still alive somehow.

Grey Worm may not be but Selmy definitely is. From the Entertainment Weekly article posted earlier:
quote:
Ser Barristan the Bold has fallen, but the legendary knight went down fighting. Sunday’s Game of Thrones killed off Daenerys’ trusted advisor after he was overwhelmed by a gang of insurgents in Meereen. The scene finally showed Ser Barristan Selmy (Ian McElhinney) in action, but also marked the exit of a kind and noble presence on the series.

Yep
And I kinda like it
I always LOL at the people saying they are going to quit the show every time they change something, but yet, here they are again
I swear the same posters have "quit the show" at least 10 times now

I don't see them going that far with killing LF at Kings Landing. If anyone other than a Stark kills LF (hopefully Sansa), I'm gonna be pissed.
I could live with Tyrion killing him, but that's it besides a Stark.

So Littlefinger definitely knows R+L=J right!?!?!?!
I highly doubt LF knows. Yes he's intelligent enough to figure it out, but I think his arrogance will not allow him to see the truth. The thought of him giving Ned Stark a soiled bride and Ned cheating on Catelyn is too funny for him to even contemplate if it isn't true or not. Same reason why I don't think Jaime has figured it out either, since he finds the fact that the honorable and judgmental Ned Stark has a bastard of his own and that Jaime had been more faithful to his love than Ned had been highly ironic.
