So BRPD says he's "not a suspect," but Boren's choice of words implied that he's not NOT a suspect. Wtf

Boren's words were just bizarre. Boren implied that they are "trying" to show he's not a suspect when the BRPD said he's not a suspect. So, if he's not a suspect, why is Boren "trying" to prove he's not by hiring a PI to investigate? And, if he's not a suspect and Boren believes he's not guilty of anything, why not let him talk to the police now to help aid the investigation and get this all over with before the draft?
Boren indicated he'd talk to the police after the draft presumably because now is "poor timing", so the draft is more important that aiding in the investigation of young pregnant woman's murder? If the police just need info from a non-suspect, would they talk with him over the phone or travel to Chicago for a quick meeting?
If Collins isn't involved (and there's nothing to indicate he is) and has witnesses who will say where he was at the time to rule him out per his attorney, why make it look like Collins is an unfeeling kid who doesn't have the time to help in the investigation if he can? Maybe they just want to know if Collins knows anyone who might have wanted to harm this woman? That could be all it is. Now, it looks like there's a lot more to it.

This would be an absolute shock if he is involved in something like this. Not only was he a class act at LSU, I have a cousin that was one of his asst coaches in high school and he has said numerous times that La'el is a high character guy and is a great guy overall.
I sure as hell hope that he has nothing to do with this.

This explains what happened this morning on Culotta and the Prince. La'el was scheduled to be on this morning and they were joking how they called him a million times and he didn't answer. Also joked how first round draft picks should lock themselves in a room all week so nothing bad happens

Yea I thought that was weird this morning. He is always on culotta and the prince when they invite him on. I know a lot of stuff this week with the draft but hope everything works out with him. He was always a great guy and I pray he had nothing to do with this

Perfect timing just to ruin a guy's draft stock. He probably had nothing to do with any of this too but you know teams are going to put a huge question mark on him since they probably don't have enough time to investigate.
