These men could be seen on every rooftop in New Orleans after Katrina. They more or less rebuilt this city. They come here to work, and they work. They don't think anybody owes them anything. Which is more than I can say for vast segments of the native population.

I am pretty right wing, but I would support some sort of effort to give these guys a path to citizenship if they want it, provided we close the border.

This is the issue. Not only is the money being sent/spent back in in Mexico , it's usually not getting taxed either. One reason I'd like to know more about how a flat tax would work in this country.

I need to stop one and figure out how they don't spend any money and still eat, drink, have fun, have a place to live, etc.

Most I have met are hard workers but aren't skilled workers. They usually work quickly and they are gone by the time you realize the quality of work is below par and your fricked

little mexican market i go to occasionally and on fridays the line at the western union wraps all the way around the store. its unbelievable.

So. The government sends Tax payer money to other countries all the time. At least these guys worked for it.

after living in texas and having labor done by mexicans and going back to lake charles to see family and see LA work crews, its night and day

those guys work hard and they are all very nice people

I wouldn't let a Mexican build anything. I've seen too much shoddy work out of them.
