I caught them in Denver once. It was enjoyable.
My answer: Leon Bridges
His genre will prevent him from being a huge star but the kid is so damn good. He would've exploded in the 50s-60s

Gazpacho they are incredible.
Sort of like Radiohead but with more atmosphere and IMO a darker side but they are very mellow but can rock. Check out their albums Tick Tock (though track 1 is the only song I don't like, it's very different from the rest of the album) and the album March of Ghosts.
dredg is IMO one of the greatest albums of all time but they aren't well known. Check out there album El Cielo.
