So, I have a raised bed that Ive planted for the past few years. Have a 5 month old now and haven't had time to plant anything or clean it up much.
Went out there today and have:
1 carrot
2 mint plants
Ton of basil
Ton of jalapeño plants
Ive never planted mint.
Its been 2 years since I did carrots.
Just some observations. I'd love to plant a lemon tree.

Just planted 2 lemon, 2 orange, and 2 satsuma 5 minutes from you (I think you said you were a Madisonvillian)
All the trees already have 60-75 fruit buds on them

Put the mint in a container......it will literally take over the entire garden for years if you plant it in the ground. I keep mine in half of an old whiskey barrel....has grown back the last 4 years.
