Tyrion, was born and conceived at Castley Rock. There is no record of the Mad King traveling to the Westerlands.

Yeah if anything Jamie/Cersi are targ and Tyrion is Tywin's true and only kid which would be hilarious

Yeah, that one is at least interesting and doesn't really take away from any of the characters, and if anything validates things.

First as noted, it would be fricking hilarious if Tyrion was Tywin's only son. Secondly it confirms Tywin's blindness to his own children. Thirdly, Cersei has only been attracted to 2 people, Jaime and Rhaegar.

Next, unlike Tyrion and Aerys, Jaime being the Mad King's son would radically change his worldview and he'd be horrified. Also explains Cersei's madness and infatuation with wildfire. Finally it creates an interesting parallel between Jaime and Tyrion in that they both murder their own fathers.

Tyrion on the other hand merely validates his eye color, slightly lighter blond hair, and dragon dreams. Nothing else.

No way this happens.

Well, while I don't think he'll kill her, I think he'll at least attempt it. I don't think he's aligned with Dany, although he could be in the show since it's gone off the rails on the Aegon plot.

And there's also this quote from Genna to Jaime in the Riverlands:
quote:
Jaime, sweetling, I have known you since you were a babe at Joanna's breast. You smile like Gerion and fight like Tyg and there's some of Kevan in you, else you would not wear that cloak...but Tyrion is Tywin's son, not you. I said so once to your father's face, and he would not speak to me for half a year

Yes! This is part of what I was referencing. I believe Jaimie tells Tyrion when he is releasing him that he is Tywin's true son. While on its surface this appears to be more symbolically that he is most like their father, it certainly could be the puzzle pieces placing Jaimie and Cersei as Aerys children. The Tyrion as his child is almost a red herring to get everyone thinking its him.

Jaime never tells Tyrion that and actually takes major issue with Tyrion being Tywin's son over himself. Both Jaime and Cersei look at themselves as Tywin, although I think Jaime deep down knows he's nothing like Tywin but constantly tries to emulate him. Cersei though is completely oblivious to it and thinks of herself as being even more brilliant than her father. The one who is truly like Tywin is Tyrion, and he really despises that about himself.

And it was Jaime's aunt who said that to him, not Jaime to Tyrion.

This could be true. I remember something about a dragon must be born of blood. If that's the case, Dany, Jon, and Tyrion most definitely fit the description since all "killed" their mothers in childbirth.
Mind blown. I didn't remember this.

I thought it was born of fire and ash? Not blood?

The dragons are born of blood. "Only death can pay for life."

Azor is born of salt and smoke.
