12 Years a Slave is pretty overrated

No. No, it isn't. The only part of 12 Years a Slave that stunk was the Brad Pitt portion and that wasn't much.

The Thin Red Line

Terence Malick's worst movie, IMO. I disagree. Saw it in the theater. At the time they weren't familiar actors, and I couldn't tell the difference between Jim Caveziel's character and Adrien Brody's character. Story was too convoluted and it was all over the place for me. I definitely thought Shakespeare in Love was better.

crash wasn't terrible to me. Not worthy of Best Picture, and not a good movie, but i wouldn't call it the worst best picture.

Million Dollar Baby is one of the slowest, dumbest, boringest, pointless film i've ever watched. WHoever thought it would be good screen time to watch a person watch someone in a comma for an hour with little to no dialogue is a moron and how anyone can find anything positive to say about that movie is beyond me.

I think a good punishment for my kids when they get older will be to sit down and watch this movie and write a report on it.
