I have 13 guys I'd rather take over him.

I could see a pass on Shelton. Love him but dunno if they wanna go that full flegedly to 3-4. He's certainly below 13 on many boards.

They jump on Amari/White that would likely have to be BPA. Parker clearly a notch below and ranked so on most boards.

Gregory has the off field issues that could X him from consideration.

Collins is closer to 31 than 13 on very many boards.

I dunno if Dupree is ranked higher on many boards at all.

Not pushing for Waynes, just sorting out the tea leaves as to what could unfold.

I like Waynes...but he's being mentioned at 13 b/c it's a weak cb class. He's more like a top 20 guy imo. Nothing wrong with that but the difference between him and the 2nd/3rd round guy isn't monumental. While I do like certain aspects of his game...he isn't the right pick at 13. If we had a later pick...then I'm on board. Not 13 though.

these are all reasons why 13 isn't a great picking spot. I believe trading back is our best option. Last year I liked the trade up for Cooks; this year I think back is the right move

That was a list of players I think are better/would rather have for the Saints.

Parker, while not as good as White or Cooper is still part of that top group and definitely worth a top-15 selection.

Same with Collins. While I'm not on the bandwaggon of picking him no matter who else is available, like many people on this board, I would definitely rather him over Waynes.

As far as Dupree is concerned he's definitely a top 15 talent and prospect. I'd be very suprised if he fell into the 20s. I would say he has a better chance of being a top 10 pick than getting past the late teens. After watching both, and reading up I would say Dupree is ahead of Waynes in the draft community and I agree big time with that.

I do agree with Gregory tho. His CC might scare the Saints off. But on the field he's head and shoulders a better prospect than Waynes. I would say enough to cancel out the CC to where if it came down to Gregory or Waynes at 13 I think the FO would take the chance on Gregory.
