Looked like some incredible times at PMAC. Also some brutal losses.

Yeah, regardless of the teams' end results, 1990-92 had to be the best time to be an LSU basketball fan. Some epic games at PMAC.

I grew up at LSU during this time, and just before, in the heyday of LSU basketball. It was incredible. I remember skipping class and sitting on the ramps at the PMAC to get into the first row of the student section.

And I'll say this, I had grown tired of Dale Brown losing big games in the tournament, and questioned his coaching ability. But through circumstances, got to know a bit about him much later. He is as genuine IRL as shown on that show. What people don't know is that he keeps in touch with everyone that played for him, religiously, even the scrubs. And he has done some amazing things behind the scenes to help players and families, and never tries to do it in the public eye to get credit.

Yep, but Dale scheduled the best. Just in this special we saw them face UNLV, Arizona and Duke two times each and Loyola Marymount once. And that was during just about all of those teams' greatest runs ever. LSU beat 3 out of the 4 including possibly the scariest team ever in UNLV the year they beat Duke by 30 in the National Championship.
