You can get a decent Weber for $100. You can beat the hell out of that thing until your kids are grilling.

I think so - I've been using the same gas grill for over 10 years.

I paid 300 for a Weber Silver about 15 years ago and replaced the guts last year and it's still going. It was worth every penny of the initial price I paid and the 125 I paid for new stainless guts.

I've been looking at BGEs and am really leaning towards getting one but I want to redo my back deck first and do it built in.

I've had my Weber Silver for 14 years. It has sat under a cover on our back deck the entire time and is used quite heavily summer and winter. (I am in KY) I have only replaced the flavorizer bars twice in that time frame and I clean the gas ports out every year...but it is still going strong.

My next grill...whenever that will be...will be a Weber.

Weber Grills

Bought one ten years ago after replacing grills every few yrs.
Everything still works....did my research....Weber uses different materials in their grills.

Try Napoleon, very similar to Weber.

I bought a Ducane three years ago, and it's been awesome. Salesman at lowes informed me that they use the same burners as Weber ' s, just cheaper materials in the frame and lid. I would highly recommend it.

assuming you are a real man...and are talking about a charcoal grill....Ask yourself how many of those cheap grills do you see in the ditch on garbage day? Tons of them...how many Weber Kettles? Zero...because 1) most do not throw them out, 2) If someone can't replace the cleaning blades...and toss the kettle someone has already picked it up...
