Depends how sorry I feel for them

I asked the Sonic girl about this. She said she likes a pat on the butt and for you to say "good game" as she goes back in.
Try it.

I used to but now that I use debit card for everything I don't. I also rarely go to Sonic except to get the kids milk shakes.

you can tip on a debit card cheapskate

Do they offer to get you a refill?
There's your answer. It's freaking fast food.

I don't remember being presented with an option to tip.

Sabi's only post here is "Of course I do." My post had nothing to do with that.
I also scanned back through, after having read the whole thread earlier. I saw nothing even remotely similar. I will just guess you were not talking to me.

Yes. It was my first job when I was 16, and it would have been horrible money without the tips.
That said, only like 30%-40% of people tipped, so I'd say if you don't it's okay. I try not to go there unless I have $1 on me, but I've gone a couple times recently without cash and couldn't tip. It's not a big deal either way.

Oh so you're one of those people that blame the waiter if your steak isn't cooked properly at a restaurant

Depends on how cute she is.
If it's a dude, I throw a quarter on the ground for the poor bastard.

I do when I go in a blue moon. Actually gave a Christmas card with $100 to the lucky server who brought my food to me this past Christmas.

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, I tip 22% at sit down places regardless, nor have I ever sent anything back.
