Is there a concern she may be affected by this next round of higher Ed cuts?

Depending on where you teach, I'd recommend these areas as they are easy for her to get to LSU:
College Hill, Kenilworth, Magnolia Woods, Oak Hills, Southdowns, Mid-city/Garden District, maybe some of the newer neighborhoods off Bluebonnet near Burbank
