I preordered gold as well and mine is expected to ship 5/17.

Like the poster above, I also have the S3 and it's been giving me some issues for a while now, so hoping it can hold out.

I did the research on the regular and edge versions, and aside from a few functionality items (like the side blinking in colors if certain people call and the phone is face down), they're essentially the same phone. If the diff was $50, fine, but not worth the hundred.

And protective cases for the regular will probably be a lot easier to find because more will sell.
