And what is the OT over/under on how long will it take me to die? Heart attack day three? Dehydration on day eleven?

I'm thinking about an initial juice-only 20 day cleanse and working a ten day cleanse into my life (10 days every 90 days). Seems like periodic cleanses might be beneficial, especially when you are old as hell. I like The Zen of it.

I think that juicing has inherent value, but this sounds more like binging to me

I think you will crave solid foods much more quickly than you think.

No, but that Breville from the movie is awesome and I use it a lot. You will get piled on here for doing something gimmicky, but I don't see a lot of downside to giving it a shot. The only argument I see against the juicing is, are you really just taking away a lot of the value of the fruits and veggies by removing the fiber? Of course, the point of it is that you get the nutrients without the volume.
Movie is free on Hulu.

Husband did. Doctor ok'd with the addition of protein powder.

For a few years I did juice for breakfast. It's very cool. You have a ton of energy and feel great. Recommend.

Fwiw. Throw in a green apple or lemon or grapes and you can make anything taste good.

Cons. Expensive, lots of trips to the fruit stand, hard to bring for lunch.

Eta. Used the fiber in the dogs food every day. He loved it.

I don't do the juice-only, but I do juice a lot at night. I'm a breakfast and lunch eater, but usually like something lite for dinner so juicing is great, especially during the summer.

Exercise more and eat and drink what you want.

Juicing leads to a lot of waste. Spend the extra money and get a Vitamix.

Yes, i did 7 days. I wasnt on the brink of insanity and you become conditioned to it after about day three, but a week of the necessities ran well over $150

Guy I worked with did a 40 day juice only diet. No way I could make that. He was not very over weight before. He lost a very noticeable amount of weight. And like I said, he wasn't fat before.

When I broke my jaw, I was on liquids for 6 weeks. But that was anything from whiskey to smoothies. Never tried to drink "healthy". I lost 25-30 lbs. Without the right fiber intake, your stomach will HATE you.

It's fricking stupid. Don't listen to fat women that magically dropped 10 pounds and are now slightly less fat.

You're welcome.
