I've done P90X before and still have it and I have done a couple of Insanity Max:30 workouts. I really liked 90x but I don't have 90 minutes a day to devote to working out like I need to. I'm just trying to decide if X3 is as good as 90x and if I'm trying to drop weight if Insanity is better for me. Or will I lose weight with both and it wont matter.

IMO it's not. I love that the workouts are 30 minutes, but I've been contemplating going back to the original p90.

I'm about to finish week 12 of p90x. There's only 1 disc that's 90 minutes (which I don't do), most of the resistance discs are about 50 minutes.

If weight loss is your biggest goal, it seems cardio (insanity) might be better.

It is, if you push yourself. If you try to "pace yourself" like you do in P90X, you'll not get the same results. I like X3 because its only 30 minutes and there are some killer workouts.
