There were some posters who couldn't get Wiki's dick out of their mouth long enough to ask where they could buy it. Then there were the logical people like Brucevilanche and Stout who saw an opportunity to make a little cash and get the frick out. But there were a LOT of eager followers.

I remember some of the epic debates we had with Wiki and his followers on here but I can't remember who all some of the more passionate Bitcoin disciples were. Seems like Corkstand had a hard-on for Bitcoin if I remember.

I still think the technology behind cryptocurrencies may yet be useful. I've worked with some startups that are trying to find ways to monetize the technology.

Josh requires special recognition as one of the Bitcoin advocates. I still get a laugh when I think about him revealing his ownership of less than $0.25 worth of Bitcoins.
