Instead of showing some intelligence and taking the ticket for the error he made, he compounded it by showing an attitude.
Dixon asked for the ticket so they would leave him alone.

I just heard he was sleep walking guys. Even the cops were sleep walking, everybody was very tired.

Why do we even care about a CB who will never start a game in the NFL that broke a few traffic laws and then acted like he was intitled to drive anyway he wanted on his moped then treat the police like shite for stopping him. He's a fricking idiot. Cut him and don't let the door hit him in a the arse on the way out.

Hey, on the plus side, it's the first stop of the season for the cornerback out of Northwest Missouri State.
"You don't know who I am." got used here, it sounds like.
The visual of the angry rasta-braid man at 5:00 am on a moped who violated a traffic law trying to be Thurgood Marshall on the side of the street? What does he think the cops are predisposed to do at that point? Not grand judgment on Mr. Dixon's part.
Singularly, by itself this incident is not a terminal offense. Possibly there are other things good or bad which could add or take away from the results of this incident.
NFL = Not For Long,

His agent is Peter Schaffer, good friend of mine. Whoever that cop is has no idea the case he just found himself in. Guarantee he won't be cut also.

Dude, stfu. We dont care if you know the agent. Dixon will pay the fine and be done.

Please someone tell me (those defending the cops action) was is exactly the charge? What law did he exactly violate?

Brian Dixon Arrested

quote: cops are suppose to be shown some respect
No they're not , You have to give respect to get respect just like anybody else. All working people risk their lives everyday. Self entitled ? Look in the mirror
So, you're saying that if BD would have shown some respect, he would've gotten some in return? How about respecting people just because it's the right thing to do?

A. You sound stupid
B. I'm actually bringing valued information to the board that hasn't been mentioned instead of sitting her arguing about cop like you. Grow some balls hombre.
Schaffer sits on the board of the NFLPA and has been involved in the litigation of a few of his players usually with the outcome rewriting whatever stupid rule it was that the player was said to have broken.
FYi: He is Brandon Browners agent as well during his ordeal dickhead.

Everything points to Dixon being a total arse and thinking that because he is an NFL player, he can break the law.
or i suspect him thinking that he was being singled out for his "look" and pointing out that hes an nfl player that does charity in the community to take the edge of the situation. ie im an nfl player, im not about to attack a cop, instead of im an nfl player, you arent allowed to hassle me.
reading the phrasing of some of the stuff in the report does genuinely give me the impression that the cops were very standoff-ish for a moped lane violation and dixon just wanted the situation to be done.

No you didn't. You just said you were friends with his agent and that the cops fricked up or something else stupid.
You know someone. Here's a cookie. How about you bring us information other than an opinion and we'll act accordingly.

As stupid as a board discussing moped arrest to a 3 string DB? Must be slow down at the crawfish farm
Posted on 3/30/15 at 10:47 am to kiNupe5
Well, he did start a number of games last season. And 3rd string CBs are pretty important. So, yeah, I think it's appropriate to discuss his arrest.

I hate forums sometimes man, other guys on here know Im good friends with Schaffer so it wasn't an attempt to boast just deter away from the race debate of a thread where retards kept posting the same crap. I know Dixon and his twin and they are pretty cool guys, Im sure it was the cop just messing with a black guy who looked to be enjoying himself...... do I fit in now.
Schaffer's represented a number of saints including PT, Roby so his relationship with the FO is pretty good which should work in Dixons favor.

I understand this. But Dixon, himself, according to the police report, made it about race before it hit this board. So it is up for debate.

I'm sure they are. I doubt anything he truly did call for an arrest. However, he could have definitely handled things differently and maybe we wouldn't even have a thread.

Whatever makes you feel cool.

I don't think he will be, or should be, cut for something this stupid. He is a young man. He has to mature. This looks as if it was just an immature act to a police officer with a short fuse.
Posted on 3/30/15 at 11:08 am to SaintEB
I didn't read this thread. But, I will never understand why someone thinks it's a good idea to backtalk to the police. Why in the hell would you do that? Just calmly talk to him if you feel like you didn't do anything wrong. You don't have to call him a racist, that's not really going to get you out of a $50 changing lanes violation on your cool scooter, Brian.

Umm...not stupid at all. Dixon will pay the fine and the case will be done. You brought zero info to the table.
