Take the names out of the equation for the sake of argument.

Which is better or perhaps less embarrassing:

To be a mediocre/decent team and lose to a bad team on the road or to be a great/very good team and lose to a mediocre team on a neutral court?

Personally I think both are terrible but the fact that Duke has done it twice in recent memory might be the trump card.

Wait, sorry, which of those Duke teams was great or even very good? No one mistook them for very good teams. Not even Duke teams. They shouldn't have lost those games, but those weren't 'great' teams, give me a break.
