Yall are being extremely hyperbolic and obtuse. Literally nobody has said it is ok to hunt down dogs or fricking punt them. We have said it is completely acceptable to give them a get away from me quick kick while jogging. Is it tragic the dog died thougj? Yes.
Did I ever say hunt them at all? I think I was using an example where the dog comes to those who cannot handle themselves within reason. If you argue this man was right, then I assume you think there is no middle ground as far as defending yourself against a dog. Its either on a leash, or if it comes close to you its perfectly okay to kill the dog no matter what the behavior of the dog is, because everyone is supposed to know you are afraid of dogs. How convenient for this man that he decides its relevant information after the fact, or maybe he could have been reasonable and mentioned it to this woman instead of going ape shite, she would have them on the leash thereafter. Or if its a repeated action of hers, then why didnt he mention it to her long ago? And why now is his dog attack past an issue? Oh yeah, because he knows he fricked up probably.

That sounds like the most reasonable answer, but frick that lets go with the pussy/a-hole Morton Anderson punt scenario on the pug that was on the verge of curing cancer

That's a lot of assumptions.
Keep your mutt on a leash. It's the law.
