This. It'd be nice to have a (more) legit course on this end of town.

This is what I am all for. I hate the hassle of having to drive across the river to go play. It will be interesting if Zurich stays the same week as it is now. Having Zurich and Jazz Fest going on side by side could be great or golfers could say it's a distraction.

New Orleans Botanical Gardens
Carousel Graden
Train Garden
City Splash
Putt Putt (City Putt)
Dog Park (City Bark)
Equestrian Farm
Big Lake (boat & bike rentals)
Temurry Trail
Museum of Art
Couturie Forset (60 acre forest)
Story Land
Stanley Ray playground
Starbucks playground
26 lighted tennis courts
Many athletic fields that can be rented
Tad Gormley (The Beatles)
Pan- America
400-meter running track from 92 Olympic time trails
Festival Grounds (Voodoo, Hogs, etc) with walking path
4 miles of bike path
Disc Golf
The oldest freshwater fishing rodeo in the country

And 1 sorry excuse for a golf course. It's so sad when conventions are in town they shuttle folks out of town for golf outings. A city like New Orleans needs this upgrade IMO. It's not like all the things I mentioned above are just going to disappear with this addition. I'm not even a golfer.
