Someone recommend a Dallas hotel in the $100-200 range?

Will be there with the family 4/8-4/12 and would like to stay near kid-friendly activities within Dallas. We'll drive out to six flags over the weekend.

Did you have anywhere in particular in Dallas where you wanted to stay? Which part of the city?

Great Wolf lodge in Grapevine, just north east of Dallas has a water park and a lot of other kid friendly activities within the hotel property.

Are you going to museums and such? Spending time at Grapevine Mills?
Narrow down where you want stay geographically....

Grapevine is a pretty good centralized launching point for doing things all over the metroplex
ETA: how much did you see crawfish for at Fiesta and what grade? Kroger has them for $1.99, premium/select

I was going to suggest Las Colinas. Close to Grapevine... Can hit the go-kart/drag race fun park thing on 35 pretty quick... Still only 15 minutes from downtown as long as you don't try to get cute during rush hour....
My folks always stay at the Courtyard Marriot off Walnut hill at Macarthur.
$120-150 depending on what configuration you want.
Hotels in Grapevine and Las Colinas are about $50-$100 cheaper /night than staying in Dallas.

Unfortunately - Most of the crawfish around Texas are from Texas. I'm going to look around this week and I'll get back to you on that.

thanks, I was Jonesing for some yesterday but couldn't round up enough bug eaters to justify getting a sack on short notice, they were nice looking(Krogers)

My favorite place to buy meat in Dallas is the small Tom Thumb in Highland Park Village. I'd call them and see what they have.

I'll bet the urine content of that water is off the charts.
