it was funny how he blatantly knocked over the sculpture in an effort to break it. only his sculpture broke off. everyone liked it better without him on it.

That scene actually bothered me a lot. If he would've broken the sculpture later in the episode, it would've been better for me. It just seemed so obvious that he broke it on purpose (to the other characters I mean), that it lost the comedic value to me.

I really wanted this show to work, but I agree with most on here that Phil's unlikeability is killing it. It seems like the past 2 episodes were the exact same. Phiil started it by hating Todd then found something redeeming in him by the end of it.
