Chinea is not being bashed cause he's a minority. He is simply being used as a means to bash PM. When your team is #1 ranked, you have to dig a lot deeper to find something to complain bout.
That thread has been very amusing to me. One spot in a 9 spot LU for the #1 team in the country becomes 30 page worthy. Damn, but PM must have LSU baseball smoking!

If you had read the thread, you would know that it's about multiple spots since that one player seems to affect so many. It's also so long because it was started back when it became evident this was a problem... So it's not just a couple days old. We also have passionate posters who go back and forth, and others who troll for pages at a time.

Because a ranking in early March doesn't mean shite for the end of the year. Because we still don't know who (or where) will be playing over half of our infield and we are in the second week of SEC play. Because we have almost twice as many errors at this point in the year compared to last year. Because we are fans and this is a discussion board and we are here to discuss; even top teams have issues.
And some people pay attention and aren't ignorant to the point where they rely solely on rankings and what the coach thinks. I'm sorry you don't belong to that number.

Lighten up, Francis! You seem to be way too emotional.
PM doesn't draw names out of his hat to fill out his lineup card. He has a reason for doing what he does as all highly successful coaches do. What they try to do might not always work out, but I'll go with him and you can go with those "people" who pay attention and aren't "ignorant".
There is no problem discussing team issues. The problem comes in when some feel they have the answers and others who might disagree are "ignorant".
As I said, if you want to think there is some big problem with our lineup, knock yourself out. At this time in the season and with our results, I don't see it.
