Answer: Because social media and mainstream news are on a fricking witchhunt - say one thing wrong or anything that can be twisted, and your career and reputation are over. There's no coming back from it anymore. Just stay away from the conversation at all costs now. Don't say a fricking word about it to anyone because you've got white people so full of liberal semen and desperate for views on their bullshite blog that they'll call you out on it even if its just a harmless statement so that they can be seen as some champion of social justice.

I'm not ashamed. The truth is whites in general don't like blacks and blacks don't like whites. I'm ok with how it is. The only way to stop racism is to have an all out race war and one of the races not come out alive..

Of course I would never say any of that out loud.

I do atypical work for a white person, which is that I lead primarily white audiences in discussions on race every day, in workshops all over the country. That has allowed me to observe very predictable patterns. And one of those patterns is this inability to tolerate any kind of challenge to our racial reality. We shut down or lash out or in whatever way possible block any reflection from taking place.
and there is the crux of the matter. Black racial reality is different than white racial reality and she's working diligently to persuade whites to believe in her version.
Black Santa Claus anyone?

The only thing terms like "white privilege" or "white fragility" attempt to do is automatically invalidate anything that might come out of my mouth in a conversation about race.
I am not going to shut my mouth that easily. Nice try, libs.
I'm all but certain that it's not just white people who are alledgedly trying to avoid a "real" conversation about race.
The thing about that conversation is that EACH side is going to have to hear something they won't like to hear, and each side will have work to do afterward.
No one gets to "win" the "real" conversation about race.

It's another term that white people should not really pay much attention to.
For the most part, real, honest discussions about race don't exists. People are incapable of having honest discussions about it. It's absolutely pointless to have a discussion with someone who takes no responsibility for themselves and constantly mutters terms like "check your privilege".
It appears that another term was invented that helps identify the people who want to spread their brand of politics and race discussion everywhere and shut down any dissent with name calling. There is no logical discussion to be had with someone who chooses to live their life jumping from one delusional bite sized narratives like "hands up, don't shoot" or "white privilege" to another in order to be in a state of constant victimization.
Smartball is more like it.

We need to come up with a word for white people that declare racism over yet spend their days discussing what's wrong with black people. Is that a real thing outside the Internet? Are you guys really this obsessed with us?

What would an open discussion about race accomplish? Black people think we are racist, but I don't think they know exactly how racist a lot of us are. It would only make things worse if they knew.

Id like to hear most blacks try and say fragility

I'm from a upper middle class family. I'm trying to think if I ever meet a person who I would consider "not racist"

Separate but equal is the best approach.
