If it's not a preference for someone that has to have it I would stay away from the colored/dyed pine needles. They look fake and trashy IMO. Honestly pine needle mulch is just shite anyway, I would go with crushed pine bark or a similar mulch and never an artificial color just keep it natural

I'm not trying to be a smartass. When I first moved here, a landscaper asked if he could come on my property and take the pine needles. He even offered to pay.I said no, and now I would let him do it for free.
They are great for bedding, but I have over 20 in my backyard alone. It becomes a pain in the arse.
