You do realize there are services that will come and pick up your laundry and return it clean and folded the same day, right?
Of course you wouldn't, because you're a peasant.

IKR?!
How much laundry would you REALLY have in one month?
4-5 loads?

Brah, my wife washes at least 2-3 loads a day. Our washer and dryer never stops when we're home.

what's wrong with the washateria? Just take it and do drop off service if going somewhere else besides the house to wash clothes depresses your wife that much.
This is pretty damn ridiculous

You drop them off at the laundry mat and have their people do it. Most laundry mats have laundry service. It's great and not that expensive. I had them do my laundry while in college. The can fold like a MFer. Highly recommend it

Having to drive to the laundromat might upset his wife

I think the OP is the one thats doing the laundry and not the wife...

Rent to Own? Is this a sly spin off of the "poor people things" thread?

You could buy an old one off Craigslist, then resell when your new stuff arrives.

I rented a washer and dryer when I live in Florida for a year for school. It was around $50 a month I think so it's def not bad if you're only gonna need it for a month. The rental company set it up and took it back for no charge too, which was nice bc I was on the 3rd floor ??

You obviously don't know my wife. She would NEVER step foot into one of those places.
Yes, it is beneath her.
Not being mean, but if a laundromat and families are beneath her, she won't go for renting one.
