Rockets can't keep pace, so Grizz get rest.

Perfect.

I need the Wiz to win as I took the Over for them in our preseason O/U pick em pool, and they're right on the edge pace wise.

And I don't have to worry about recording this game to watch when I get home later tonight

I don't follow NBA super close...didn't pop get in trouble a few years back for sitting a bunch of starters? What was the deal there...why did he get reprimanded? And how come other teams don't get in trouble for doing the same thing?

He did one time. Nationally televised Finals rematch. The league has basically admitted that Popovich was right about scheduling though, as they are now trying to take out road back-to-backs and such.

Pop pulled a bunch of starters in a back-to-back @Miami a couple years ago. The game was on national TV which is why the league fined him. It was BS

The Memphis game is nationally televised tonight, but I don't think the league will do anything.

It was Stern who fined them and it was more because they have a rule in place that you have alert the league office ahead of time when guys aren't traveling with the team.

Pop sent 4 or 5 of his key guys home at the end of a roadtrip without alerting anyone.

He's already done the same thing a couple times this year without any issue

To be fair, it was Stern not Silver when Pop was fined

Why would Memphis do this considering Houston and Portland are right on their heels for second in the West?

#Grizz schedule notes:
* 12th game in 19 nights
* 10 different cities
* 5th game in 7 nights (3rd 5-in-7 this season)

You can see why they need to sit some guys. Plus I think Joerger is trying to use this a motivational tactic because Marc and Zbo are sort of coasting right now. Taking away one of the few national TV games they get has to piss them off.

Because they still have a 2 game advantage over both and own the tiebreakers atm.

Plus they HAVE to get right soon. They've been playing like shite since the AS break. Starting unit has been a disaster.

They are only a game ahead of Portland in the loss column. It's not as a big a gap as it might seem.

Being well rested is more important than seeding. I don't disagree with the decision.

What is the tiebreaker when the season series is 2-2?

It would come down to division record. Currently Memphis is 7-6 and Houston is 5-6.

Jeff Green better score 35 just to make up for the shite show that was the fourth quarter last night. Most of it wasn't his fault...kind of.
