IMO this is a terrible ruling and opens the door to a shite load of frivolous lawsuits.

Fair use isn't an issue in any of these cases because all of the songs are for commercial purposes. Once they're sold, no more fair use.

Red hot chili peppers lost one to Tom Petty years ago and there weren't a "ton of frivolous suits".
