There are no guys not on the all star team that are capable of being transformed into a HOFer in this way.
Demarre Carrol or Harrison Barnes aren't future Pippens. Kawhi Leonard or maybe Jimmy Butler could possibly become that in that right situation, and they are both all stars.

We need another legit allstar.
The teams that made the finals with one HOFer, Kidd/Iverson/Howard/Lebron were all outmatched severely in the Finals against the two legit HOFers. The Pistons are the only exception to the two HOFer rule in the last 30+ years. There's no disputing it.

WHat makes you think we can win it with just AD and a bunch of non-allstars? history tells us you can't

The only chance we have of getting a legit all star is in 2016.

It's not going to happen next year most likely.

Because we may not have a choice. What the team needs to do is keep progressing, then the disgruntled All Stars will come to us. In the mean time hope you get lucky, maybe Chicago will cheap out or blow it up and you can get Butler. But if not just make the best moves you can and wait for the next Kevin Love to put New Orleans on his short list.
