Quarterman should be on 2nd team.

Beard is All-freshman and Patterson is not?

I thought Devin Booker was from the Mississippi coast. Moss Point if I'm not mistaken.

Patterson
23.7mpg, 6.5 ppg, 2.6 reb, 2.2 ast, 0.8 TO; 41.3%/37.5%/80.0%

My thoughts exactly, numbers are almost identical, and we had to rely on Patterson a little more than Arkansas had to rely on Beard.

I don't think he was born on the coast. I know his dad is from Moss Point though. Most of my family is from that area.

Good for the M&M boys. They definitely earned it.

A little off-topic, but something I noticed:
quote:

Jarell Martin, LSU - F, 6-10, 236, So., Baton Rouge, La.
Jordan Mickey, LSU - F, 6-8, 235, So., Dallas, Texas
there's no way Martin is only 1 pound heavier than Mickey. He's listed as 2 inches taller, and he looks both taller and thicker.

Martin has really looked good of late. Great to hear they received first team honors.

Congrats to Mickey and Martin.

Was definitely surprised Patterson didn't make all freshman team.

This is why people say LSU has talent. Two of the top nine players in the conference, only four teams with two or more players in top 18, and you have arguments for other players being included.
