Four police officers rushing to an overturned car in an icy Utah river say they all heard the same thing: a mysterious female voice calling out “Help,” from inside the vehicle.
quote:
But the driver of the car was dead and her 18-month-old daughter, while still alive, couldn’t have been the speaker.
quote:
“The only people in there were the deceased mother and the child,” Officer Bryan Dewitt told the paper.

It is interesting so say the least.

There's an explanation I'm sure. Ghost and aliens do not exist.

How are you so sure? Just wondering.

The cops are obviously making this up

It seems as if the officers were the ones that helped. Saying "help" doesn't really help.

If it was Kirk Cameron, I'd be REALLY suspicious.

But without the "help", baby isn't found.
Quit being so demanding.

No that's too logical man it was certainly a ghost.

Under the extreme stress of the situation, they hallucinated an animal or bird call into a human voice.
Or maybe it was a ghost. Seems reasonable.

Probably pissed there was no dog to shoot.

I'm not sure what I do and don't believe with regard to ghosts, angels etc., but I find it both disturbing that people mock and belittle others that do, and sad that people are so very narrow minded and scared of the possibility that these things may exist.

I'm gonna go out in a limb and say the mother wasn't dead yet. She had adrenaline and shite keeping her alive and she used all of her energy screaming for help to save her baby's life until she saw the rescuers coming and she slipped away.
How would they know she was already dead until they go to the car?
