Maybe if he has a thing with the trailer it's time to upgrade to a different trailer that he doesn't equate to the shitty rides he has had in the past. The thing does seen a little small and it seems like the same one they have had for the past 2 decades (I could be wrong)

He absolutely is well taken care of and we can see that. But Mike himself probably isn't a huge fan of watching tens of thousands of meat sacks walking by him laughing and smiling on gameday and he can't do what his instincts are telling him to do.

For the love of God people, no one is going to "make" Mike get in a cage and go to the game.
You can't even see him thru all the expanded metal on the trailer. You could throw a stuffed tiger in the trailer and no one would know the difference. Get the frick over it. Besides does anyone really think his going to the game makes a difference?

I like your thinking, he's actually larger than any tiger they have ever had. Now that you mention it, that thing is pretty outdated.

That trailer is as antiquated as the idea of dragging the cat thru the stadium. An upgrade would be nice, but they still won't force him into it.

I agree. People saying that he needs to be forced to get in the trailer are incredibly stupid.

However, I do think that if a visiting player has never seen a live tiger before, it could cause a little anxiety seeing him before they go out on to a field with 100,000 hostile fans. Not saying it would happen to a lot of people but it definitely is something that would screw with other players.

The players just run by him when entering the stadium, they pull the trailer a lap around the stadium and he is gone by kickoff. The tiger in the trailer is much more catered to LSU fans than its meant to intimidate opposing teams. As another poster said, with the bars on the current trailer, you can barely even tell it's a tiger inside of it

I know. But still, I think at some point in time an opposing player has been shook up by it.

I can't say as I've never been in that position but from what I've seen, opposing players just ignore it. I would be way more concerned about the game than an animal being paraded around. Either way, it's still an awesome aspect to include with the tiger stadium traditions and local lore

Absolutely. I mean, anyone who doesn't like being in a stadium with 100+ screaming fans and a live damn tiger in a cage must not have a pulse

Id hope our defense or passing game would be more intimidating than a tiger in a cage you can barely see. If LSU has to rely on the mascot for an edge, we're more fricked than I thought.

Like piped in music and an empty stadium half way thru the third quarter? Or the predictable run, run, incomplete pass, punt offense?

shite, with the amount I drink on gamedays, if a vet handed me a cattle prod and said "go get him" I'm either coming out with a tiger in a trailer or dead

I can see it right now.

"Hell give me the damn cattle prod and I'll have his pussy arse out in 5 minutes. Buncha damn women running this place!"

Aren't you just a ball of joy.... don't you have some kids to scream at to get off your lawn or a wife going through menopause to verbally abuse?
