You can be anonymous on Facebook and twitter the same as you can here if you want to and you can be just as open about who you are on here as you can on facebook

Being anonymous on FB requires either all of the privacy settings or an alias.

Essentially everyone on here is anonymous unless they're a complete attention whore.
