it pays hommage to left field incline at Crosley Field, Duffey's Cliff at Fenway, and the Ebbets Field terrace
at least its not as bad as the old goat hill at University of Texas old Clark Field (yes, a ball landing above that cliff was a playable ball!)

Let's pay homage to awful design by spending millions constructing an awful design. Probably Aggie architects.
