I hate to stick up for the acc, but are you really so dense to think the acccg would only sell 40k seats in the dome? There's a major reason it's attendance is so laughably bad, and that reason would disappear were it in Atlanta.

What would change if they moved it from CLT to ATL?
Both cities are hubs for major airlines.
Both cities have interstate access to the ACC schools
I highly doubt that the the ACCCG becomes a play in game for the playoffs
Playing in a CC venue vs the open is the only thing that would change and the weather is not what is keeping the fans away from the ACCCG.

As I have said before the SECCG does not need to move, but the baseball tournament needs to rotate between Memphis, Bham, Pensacola, and Biloxi.

bullshite. The reason is because it is an ACC neutral site game. No matter where they play it the attendance will be awful. Their bell cow football team doesnt even sell out and travel for the national championship. Conversely, you could play the SEC championship on the moon and it would sell out
