It sucks b/c at their old ground it was loud and wild with their core fans. Their away fans are still great.
But when the city of Manchester gave them that stadium it was just to big for them. Even now you have huge sections of empty seats or gimmick deals like buy one get one free.
In the HD era and high priced tickets where you see fans leaving early in the first few rows even at United, Liverpool Arsenal etc. City just has to accept who they are.

This is OT but today Van Gaal said Newcastle "always play with a high rythym, they want to give a lot of energy"
