No we aren't. We have been able to kill cancer cells in tissue culture for decades. The problem with real cancers is their ability to evolve around the treatments and actively recruit the immune system to hide itself.
Trust me, there will never be a "cure" for cancer, only better prevention, earlier detection, and improved treatments.

That's the whole point of the treatment. The HIV T-cells "attack" the cancer cells, not saying they destriy them. They basically live in the cancer cells. Well, as we all know cancer manipulates your immune system to not destroy the cancer cells. Well the HIV cells don't carry that property and cause the bodies immune system to destroy the cancer cells.

which is exactly what these new treatments target. They don't kill the cancer, they allow your white blood cells to see and kill the cancer.
By your credentials you know this.
