PEMDAS dictates that you work from left to right if you have to choose between M/D or A/S

1.
PEMDAS
6/2(2+1) = 6/2*(2+1)
The P is for inside the parenthesis only

Is it 6 over 2(2+1) or 6 over 2 times (2+1)?
This is fricking dumb because this is not how shite is ever written.

And it's funny b/c you obviously don't understand them.
6/2(3) is the same as 6 divided by 2 times 3
Working from left to right (PEDMAS) it would be:
6/2 = 3 x 3 = 9
2(3) is not the P in PEDMAS... it's M as in multiply.
Everyone saying the answer is 1 is retarded.

The answer is 9
You can't just decide on your own to change the equations to
X=6/(2(2+1))
