As a short guy, I was sort of thinking the same thing.
To me, what stands out about a lot of short guys I know(remember, I'm short too) is their tendency to feel the need to remind you that they can do anything you can do.
Um, you never see a 6'3" guy doing that. If you're short like me, just do it. Let THEM notice and be surprised by what you can do, don't ASK them to notice. Even if not intentional, it is perceived as sort of sad.

Nope. I mean, obviously on a message board, you sort of have to tell people cause they don't know you.
But, for me, my kick is being in the gym and having a guy say, "whoa, didn't see that coming" or when I played baseball, same thing when I threw one from the hole at SS.
You can't run around saying, "look look look, I know I'm short but you ought to see me ..........."
First off, absent actually seeing you do it, no one believes you. Second, it's sad.
