I know these threads pop up a lot, but I am going to surprise the wife with a trip to the Caribbean for our anniversary. It's Tuesday, so rates may be a little lower. Was looking for legit all inclusive places in the Caribbean, looking to stay 4 or 5 nights and would like to keep it in the $450 to $600 or so a night range. We aren't really looking for activities or anything, just relaxation and nice beaches and as few guidos as possible. I appreciate your recommendations.

I went to Mayan Princess or something like that in Cozumel.. they had like a buffet and food carts and shite.. I got military pricing and I don't remember what it was but I remember thinking it was reasonable and it was right on the beach.

Good topic. I was looking at Melia Carbie this morning per advice from a coworkers. It looks legit.

Punta Cana area Dominican Republic

Punta Cana is apparently the best beach area on the is-land.

Good not as good at all inclusive, just a fact. It's not horrible or anything so if that's not important to you then fine. If it is, he'll no.

Adults only Iberostar in Montego Bay has been my best experience with all-inclusive if you are looking for fun activities and clubbing. Haven't been to Turks & Caicos yet but the Sandals St. Lucia was pretty good for a more romantic getaway. But you do have to be a little cautious becaus any all-inclusive chain hotels can be outstanding in one location and garbage in another. Enjoy
