2 for 1 usually leads to inefficient offensive possession if you need to shoot the ball in less than 5 seconds.

Add onto the fact you're nursing a 1pt lead, its a higher % to get into a correct set and then score than defend.

So you don't subscribe to the concept of there being value in a 2 for 1? Obviously it will be less efficient. That's the case at the end of every quarter of basketball. You are afforded the luxury of being less efficient because you have more possessions. In fact, you can be half as efficient.

What does that even mean? A higher percentage than what? You are defending either way.
