I have so many of those boxes just laying around empty.

I love them.
In hindsight, I should have bought more boxes. It is nice to have all of your similar stuff in one place. If I'm fishing a brush hog, I have a box or 2 of them/creature baits on the deck with me and I can switch colors in between casts without having to dig through everything I have looking for a specific one.

You put soft plastics in them? I only used them for hard baits, and my plano carries all the hardbaits I could ever use.

This is my problem. I can't just buy a bait in one color. I have to buy the same bait in two or three different colors and I end up with a box for just one bait (in multiple different colors). I would say most of those colors never see the water.

Yeah, look at the 3 deep boxes on the bottom of the stack. Packs of worms stand up perfect in them. You can thumb through them like a file cabinet until you find what you want and pull the pack.
I use the shallow ones for hard baits.

Just did some re-organizing last night.
One 3700 for flukes
One -- frogs
Two -- beavers/creatures
Two -- craw worms
One -- jigs
One -- hooks/sinkers etc.
One -- carolina (finesse/trick/small stuff)
Four-- crankbaits/topwater
Spinnerbait bag with over 50
Worm bag busting at the seams
Yes I have a problem

I honestly have over 300 of those boxes
My sickness isn't that bad. With my 6 new ones I have about 25 for fishing tackle.

My plastic goes in the space on the left,

Same idea.
I just got away from "real tackle boxes" like you just posted because somebody (mostly me) would inevitably step on them in the boat and break them.
The storage boxes in a big soft sided bag are easily replaceable for a lower cost if that happens. I still cuss like a sailor when it does though.

I bring two waterproof Plano trays in my kayak with all of my hard baits/terminal tackle in one and plastics in the other. Of course I only use about 5 or 6 lures but I like buying tackle

I don't bring everything every time. I've got everything in two large Rubbermaid containers either in the bag they were bought in, or in a the flat tackle boxes. Pick what I plan to use that day. Learned that when I had my kayak.
Went bass fishing with a guy I know last year and his boat looked like the pic on the first page. He had 30 rods in just the left rod box (all with reel covers and rod sleeves.....very organized). Had to have over 5 grand worth of bait in his boat. Center hatch was full and so organized. Back hatches had milk crates full of baits still in packaging. He has more in his garage. He used to charter and I've honestly never seen someone who likes to fish as much as him. Including rods and reels, I would bet he had $20k worth of crap loaded on that boat. He's the kind of guy that replaces all of his reel handles with upgraded $125 handles, etc.. He spends money to get the best stuff he can find. Constantly selling off stuff to buy new stuff as well.

I'm not talking about the popular ones. It's always the weirdest colors or types of baits that no one seems to use or buy anyway. It's like he has a mission to see if he can catch fish on them.

Yeah, the parachute bag isn't made for it, but set sideways two stacks of 6 or so fit pretty damn well.

Not sure why this is happening, but all my skirt rubber bands are dry rotting.
