Older people. My parents (mid 50s) watch this garbage non-stop. It's either NCIS New Orleans, NCIS, Blue Bloods, Rizoli and Isles, Castle, or Date Line that is on the TV whenever I go home to visit.

It literally drains me when it's on...I try to simply spend time with her while she watches, but these shows are depressing to watch!

I agree to an extent, but you can't include Castle in this. There is a ton of back story in there that you can't just pick up in one episode. Yes there are filler episodes, but they have that in any series.

Kind of like ER and all the medical dramas, these shows have run their course. How do you keep coming up with fresh ideas.

I agree with that other dude. Castle doesn't quite fit the mold...almost has a psych feel to it.
And NCIS does/or at least did have multiple season story arcs that were actually done quite well. The issue with that show is it should have ended around four seasons ago.

What!!... I like NCIS and I love Castle though I wouldn't mind them wrapping up the series and let Fillion get back to Firefly...

Castle shouldn't be included in that list. It's closer to something like Psych than CSI or NCIS.
