Wicks years ago a bunch of stone crab came into the rocks off dauphin Island. We tried to take just one claw but they died. They were delicious though.

oh yeah...

i know lobsterman up here that eat lobster 4-5 days a week and they are the healthiest people i know...


lobsterman are also huuuuugggee drunks


people up here can't believe it when I tell them I will take crawfish over lobster any day of the week, the crazy thing is, most people up here say,"y'all end them things down there?!",

If you eat too much lobster - 3 meals a day - it will give you the shakes from the mercury poisoning.

Happened to my friend when he lived in Nova Scotia one summer.

That water looks great!

My brother is a Captain for a lobster boat out of New Hampshire. He sends packs now and again.

That's belfast bay in maine, probably no more than 150yds from shore in that pic.

They we're running good that day and we had a pretty descent haul.

I have an email for a lobster guy, prices change a little but 12 1.25 lb lobsters with overnight shipping is around $110, 24 is $220... He has bigger lobsters also...

and i like the meat in the 1.25# and 1.5#, bigger lobsters are for guest that don't know any different

Found him on craigslist a couple of years ago and rolled the dice, since then a lot of people from the food board have ordered. All with excellent lobster...

all y'all gotta do is bring some crawfish and shrimp and we'll have one of the best boils ever

I think late summer is peak time, but they fish year round
