Elric of Melnibone Film Rights Optioned

Elric is one of my favorite characters from Fantasy/Sci Fi.

The contract is basically for TV, as I understand it. I've mentioned that I have ideas for a cable adaptation, which would make for a more gradual introduction of chsracters and a better overall plot more suitable for TV. i've always wanted to have an Elric TV series for precisely that chance. My basic intention is to leave development to people with a good track record. It's a medium I grestly admire and don't know if I could emulate the best. [ETA] I started thinking of who could play Elric. My vote is Tom Hiddleston (Loki from the Thor and Avengers movies).
