The problems with LSU Basketball

1. Josh gray has the worse bball iq I have ever seen. He tries to force things that aren't there, taking stupid shots (the 3 he shot when we took lead, trying to drive to goal against 7 footers)
2. Johnny being able to get his team motivated for games. We saw our team play there hearts out tonight, and only bc it was UK! They play down to there competition way too much and only play hard for big games. Hopefully our team realizes there potential after tonight and start to leave it out on the floor every game.
3. Play calling late! Like tonight, setting a screen for a 3 pointer that was contested by two players! Don't understand why the basketball isn't in Martin/mickeys hands at that time. Your best player should always take the shot on those situations
These are things that are holding this team back from being a tourney team. Still believe we have a good chance tho if we play like we did tonight for the rest of season. I'm not giving up on them, just too much talent to not make it

Just give it a rest. The team played its heart out, the crowd was electric, and we lost to the team that has more Mcdonald's All-Americans in college basketball history

"Too much talent"
I keep hearing this. We have arguably six players who can give us quality minutes.

Also we rely on our guards too much. We needa play through our strengths which is Martin and Mickey! Our offense should run through them! Do not know y it doesn't

1. Lack of discipline
2. Lack of depth

I'm not mad at this loss. I am mad at the poor coaching and how we play crappy against shitty teams. The miss st., Mizzou, and auburn are just all example of this

This. Josh Gray is apparently the worst player to ever play basketball, he's the 6th man, and legitimately world's better than everyone else on our bench. On good night's we have 4 players, tonight we had 3.

Well Mickey is an NBA 3 and Kentucky has 10 NBA cliber players. Perhaps the offense can't simply run through two players against a team like Kentucky.

Lol I do, but why isn't it ran through them against other sec opponents??? Explain that one, not every team has that size

Gray played good tonight, gave us quality minutes.

Never said grey was terrible. Just has AWFUL bball iq, and is a street baller imo

They play 35 minutes a game. I'm not sure if you've seen kentucky's roster, but they're awfully physical. running an offense against Kentucky with 2 players is the most insanely idiotic idea since the fans wanted Jon Tenuta to lead LSU's defense

Hornsby's 3 was only contested by 1 player.
You must not know basketball.

Still haven't answered y the offense doesn't run through M&M in other games. No matter who we play we rely on guard play too much and don't play to our strengths.

Why shoot a three in those last seconds??? When u give it to Martin whose 8-11 with 21 points on the night. When he could possibly attack the goal and get a foul call. Just very stupid
