When is the last freeze coming?.....Wanna plant tomatoes 2nd week of March.

Freeze isn't the only threat, its the frost. The usually frost date is March 15. That's about when I am comfortable planting my spring garden. I have been burned after that date though, but rarely.

You can always plant a couple of plants and roll the dice, save the rest for a couple of weeks later...

Like Wick said, I always jump the gun and put a couple in.
Even if they make it, and I put some more in a month or so later. The ones I waited to plant catch the early planted ones. They just don't hardly move/grow even if they survive.

Thundered here (Monroe) on Feb. 1st so we'll have frost on April 1st. That's what my great grandma used to tell me anyway.

Just put a gallon jug over it with a cut off bottom.
