Premiered tonight. Anyone else watch it? Was very intriguing and vague, I have no idea where this is going to go or what's going to happen, but I have no knowledge of any of the cases.
Basically HBO is interviewing Robert Durst, a man who has never granted interviews before to anyone else. He is connected to a few homicides but never convicted (I think?). One such case consisted of his wife. He's very wealthy and there seems to be a lot going on. Has a current wife who may have anterior motives more concerned with his money than well being. Might have some family problems, and definitely some psychological or social and personal problems. He has a bunch of alias and lives a rather weird life for a wealthy man.
Recommend watching it, it's got me begging for more

I've DVR'd and will be watching it tomorrow. Sounded interesting from the previews and I don't know anything about the cases either.

I thought it was good but I think once Durst starts talking it will get a lot more interesting. Weirdest dude ever.

Would be interesting if she had some posterior motives too.
This is right up my alley, love true crime. Loved EP1. Dude certainly looks like a psychopath to me, he has some really scary looks. Can't wait to learn more since I've never heard of this case before today. Will have to catch that movie that was made.

Watched the episode tonight. I was already somewhat familiar with this case due to media coverage, but the specifics will be fascinating as we move long I imagine.

Fuuuuck. This sounds awesome, and I hadn't heard about it. Gonna have to watch it illegally somewhere. Or maybe find a rerun on HBO. It won't come on HBO-GO right away, huh?
ETA: Nevermind. It's on HBO-GO. Gonna watch it now. Who needs sleep?

Read a book about Durst a couple of years ago - I think it was called "Deadly Secrets" or something similar. It's a must read if you are a true crime fan. This Durst guy is beyond a whack job - I had a hard time believing that his story wasn't embellished or just made-up - unfortunately, it's not fiction.
I don't have HBO - think I might add it to my service just to watch this guy's interviews.

Wow. That was really good. I'm excited about this. When does the next episode air?

Next Sunday I believe. Going to be on every Sunday for the 6 weeks it lasts I believe. I wish I wouldn't have seen a commercial for this yesterday around 5
I hadn't heard of it either and saw the commercial so I watched the premiere last night. Would've been nice to find out in a few weeks and power through all the episodes. I'm very intrigued

There is definitely something up with his wife. The police interview tape they showed with her was weird as shite. Not really sure how to explain it. First episode was absolutely fantastic.

Yup. It got my watching all sorts of other stuff. Anyone on here have anything similar to suggest on Netflix or HBO-Go or whatever?

On netflix, check out the documentary Into the Abyss. It's Werner Herzog and it's incredible.
